The HealthCare IT User Group(HITUG) is committed to the privacy of its members and collects information on members for the sole purpose of identifying events, information, networking opportunities, and volunteer opportunities that match a member's skills and interests. The HealthCare IT User Group (HITUG) does not release member information to any external organization. HITUG may use your email to communicate event information or send you a newsletter. If you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter or emails, you can select the unsubsribe link provided in the communication or send an email to support@hitug.org. The member information is provided only to HealthCare IT User Group Organization staff.

The HealthCare IT User Group(HITUG) collects no other information on a member beyond the information that a member provides on the Member Registration Form. In order to enhance our Web site, we may track the way our members/visitors are using the site. Personal information is not included in this analysis. We do not follow your browsing path outside of HITUG.

This site will use "cookies" to assist members in the login process.

In order to use some features and the forums, users are required to provide a username, password, email address and country information in the Registration Form. Neither the Administrators of HITUG forums, or the Moderators participating, are responsible for the privacy practices of any user.

Forums are public and are viewable by all visitors/users visiting HITUG, every user should exercise caution when disclosing any personal information. It is the sole responsibility of the user if the user decides to put their personal information on the forum.

Any user who finds material posted by another user objectionable is encouraged to contact us at: support@hitug.org.

This site may contain links to other web sites and files. We have no control over the content and can not ensure it will be offensive or objectionable.

We will, however, remove links to materials that we feel is inappropriate as we become aware of them.

HITUG may update this policy. Watch for announcements on the Website for any changes made to this policy.

The Country information collected in the registration form may be given to our sponsor organizations in aggregated summaries.  No specific member information will be given to our sponsors.
