HealthCare Information Technology User Group (HITUG) was formed in April 2008 to bring people interested in Healthcare and Technology together to share and grow their skills in new technologies and Healthcare IT products/services. The group will be holding events as well as inviting speakers and members of the IT community to share their insight and experiences in Healthcare by way of presentations and demonstrations.

Mission

To build a group of avid users, with zeal to transform HealthCare through Technology in order to:

• Share views/opinions, news, ideas, tools, products related to Healthcare and Technology
• Make connections and network with other HealthCare & IT Users.
• Provide insight to how various products/tools are used, and feedback to the aid companies in the continued improvement of their software / tools
• Provide information on various independent platforms that can be used for development and integration of financial & clinical systems to achieve process improvement and to exceed patient care objectives.
• Bring value to other companies through mutual cooperation and knowledge sharing
